Observation Post 7
A downloadable Project for Windows
The machines took your job flipping burgers. Now you serve sentences to the very people you used to serve patties.
You wish it could be different, but you would do anything for your daughter, Mira, and she needs your steady income to survive. So every night you sit down at Observation Post 7: eight monitors, one quota, and a city that does not know you are watching.
Let's be honest, maybe you kind of like the job. Either way, stay loyal and stay caffeinated. And don't get any funny ideas on the walk home, or freedom might be harder to reach than you thought.
An unreported crime is a shared crime.
What you'll do
- Watch eight live camera feeds across three cities, each with its own crimes, vehicles and weather.
- Spot the offence and file the report: vandalism, theft, contraband, sedition, public indecency and more. Report the wrong person and the Directorate notices.
- Order public sentences on camera, and watch how the crowd reacts.
- Keep your loyalty up. Miss crimes or report the innocent, and the officers come through the window.
- Use what's on your desk: coffee slows the city, a rubber stamp approves your own file, and a cigarette clocks you off once the quota is met.
- Walk home through the streets you watched. Tag a wall, pick a pocket or hijack a car, then outrun the officers before the cameras lock on.
- Read a note from Mira every night, with a crayon drawing of a sky she has never seen.
- Clean up three cities to earn your family a home in Meridian, where nobody works nights.
- Find three endings, and an endless mode for those who find the chair upstairs.
